Unlike many states in the U.S., Nevada has relaxed policies when it comes to payday lending. Nevada is one of the few states that doesn’t regulate the amount of interest a lender can charge. There is also no maximum term for the loan either.
While there are no state laws regulating lenders, lenders are not allowed to issue or provide any loans that are more than 25% of the borrower’s monthly income. Also, there are laws that protect borrowers from additional fees from lenders as well as laws that protect them from harassment.
